The Architecture of Value: Building Your Professional Practice

In 2003, SMPS asked if I would be interested in a writing a book for their new publishing group (now part of BNi). I agreed and we published "Design. Market. Grow!" a book on the strategy, marketing and business development, and management of an enduring professional practice.

In 2011, I expanded the book by six chapters, did a major rewrite and update of the rest, worked with a couple of fantastic editors (Cherri Yuen and Tracy Black), and republished it as The Architecture of Value: Building Your Professional Practice. This is the first of a four-part series, entitled The Architecture of Practice, which will include books on leadership, technology, branding and strategy.

The book has received great reviews and is part of the "recommended reading" for SMPS' CPSM accreditation program. The Architecture of Value is available from my website, www.craigpark.com, the SMPS Bookstore, Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
