SMPS Learning Lab: Graphic Design Basics for the A/E/C Professional

When:  Sep 20, 2017 from 12:00 to 13:00 (ET)
Graphic Design Basics for the A/E/C Professional
(September 20, 2017, at Noon EST).

Instructor: Carrie L. Slack, Marketing Manager, K. Norman Berry

Graphic design may not be the first thing you think about when you go into work in the morning. But it’s an important component—especially when you need the best marketing and communications materials to sell your services, communicate with your clients, and win more work.
Don’t let graphic design get overlooked or underutilized. There are many elements of design proven to be beneficial in the A/E/C industries. In our September Lunchtime Learning Lab, we’ll discuss typography, basic page layouts that direct the reader, electronic file types, color theory and profile uses. We’ll take a quick look at the Adobe Creative Cloud program, and even provide resources for video training and keyboard shortcuts.
